        Our Mission 
        By providing the organization and coordination of the joint compulsory and elective courses offered in cooperation with our Faculties, the Turkish-German University Common Courses Department will contribute to the realization of these courses in the most effective and efficient way. Our Department will try to carry out the deliverance and examinations of these common courses in a healthy way. 
       In addition to using the Turkish language correctly, it is among our duties to raise our students as individuals who listen empathetically; speak, read, and write academically effectively. In addition, it is our mission to improve our student’s knowledge and awareness of history, to bring them to the competence to contribute to our social life and to ensure that they are competent in foreign languages that will help them take their place in the world competitive environment. We strive to ensure that our students, whom are aimed to produce science and technology at a universal level, turn out to be individuals who are conscious of trying to add their own cultural values to their scientific research and projects. It is among our main goals for them to transform into people who can understand and interpret the present, shape the future
by their vision, and undertake value-added works in the future they have built for themselves.
            We believe that our academic staff whose knowledge, skills and experience we trust in, will provide our students with more than these competencies thanks to their student-centered
teaching approach. With this understanding, the satisfaction of our faculty members and staff on working arrangements is among our priorities. It is one of the goals of our department to  create an effective and efficient workflow for our academic staff working in our department. The Turkish-German University Common Courses Department aims to create an institutionally established and sustainable quality in compulsory and elective common courses. Our department will work to make the teaching of common courses effective and organized, as well as to represent our institution in the best way in the academic field.
