Our Vision
The Department of Common Courses of Turkish-German University wishes to raise young
people who are aware of their own culture in line with the requirements of the 21st century,
who are curious to discover today's world and who are eager to build the world of the
future. Our Department, which supports the intellectual discovery process of our students,
tries to raise them as individuals who are open to cultural interaction and have strong
communication skills. We strive to contribute to the competencies and academic success of
our students, who have an advantage in global competition with the knowledge and
language skills required by our age. Adopting the creative and innovative approach, which is
a requirement of the conditions of our age, our TAU Common Courses Department aims to
educate our students as individuals who respect human values, are sensitive to human
rights, have social responsibility, and can adapt to teamwork. We aim to contribute to our
society by enabling our students to become individuals who bring new perspectives to cases
and develop creative solutions to problems with their critical and questioning attitudes.
