With the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye in 1920, April 23 is the day when the will of the nation became visible in our history; it is the day on which sovereignty was unconditionally entrusted to the nation.
On the 106th anniversary of the founding of the Grand National Assembly, we congratulate the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day of the valued children of our Republic. We also move forward with the aim of raising individuals who preserve their culture and can express themselves effectively—first in their mother tongue and then in different languages.
We remember with mercy, gratitude, and respect all the heroes of the National Struggle, especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
